      You are invited to the best free fitness events in Canada's capital.  Join us for a 5th summer season of Movecamp - powered by Green Beaver.  MoveCamp is about getting people moving and having fun at the same time. We create an inclusive environment where no matter your fitness or skill level you have a place to move your body free from judgement.After four successful years of providing free fitness classes on Parliament Hill we are excited to announce more locations and dates. “It’s not about how hard you push or how much you sweat, but about listening to your body and taking care of yourself. In many cases, less is more,” says MoveCamp founder Mia St-Aubin.In addition to the free 12-week summer fitness series on Parliament Hill, MoveCamp will offer conferences workshops and lunch and learns around the city to educate the public on how to truly live a healthy life, taking into account mind, body and spirit through education and movement that makes sense. “There are countless talented practitioners and educators in Ottawa and we are thrilled to be collaborating with many of them to create world-class education events that will change lives,” says St-Aubin.MoveCamp kicks off the 2019 season with National Health and Fitness Day on Parliament Hill on Saturday, June 1, 2019. The 12-week summer fitness series begins Thursday June 6 on the lawn of Parliament Hill. We meet every Thursday 12:00-1:00pm until the end of August. MoveCamp is open to all ages and we encourage everyone to attend as we provide options for every fitness level. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and running shoes and bring a water bottle and exercise mat.WHEN: 12:15-1:00pmWHERE:June 27, July 4, July 11, July 18Ottawa City Hall, Courtyard area off Elgin Street. WHO:Open to the public.
